“New” Physics + Reading List

Wow. So much to share with you and I’ve no clue where to begin, there’s so much!

So I’ll back up a step and start here:

Recently I’ve been intensely immersed in study around lots of this:

sacred geometry, physics, fractals, spirals, electromagnetics, ancient civilizations, egyptology, electricity, the physics of Isness (aka consciousness, or what our ancesters called ‘ether’), cymatics (the science of making sound visible – see also, how sound and vibration relates to the creation of form and *gasp* matter)…

…and other cool things like that…

Nothing complicated, right?

I’m finding it all very wild because I have always been interested in each of these independently, wanting to learn more, and “coincidentally” they all seem to converge at the same topic….

The topic – a unified understanding about how things work; how everything is connected together (Yes, everything.), and how “reality” relates to the transpersonal/mystical realm (in a way that can be shown mathematically!).

Here’s the list of who I’m studying:

- Nassim Haramein – see his Rogue Metaphysical Library 8hr presentation for an amazing (visual, sometimes very startling) overview
- Cymatics – I started with Evan Grant’s Ted talk and went from there to Cymascope + lots of youtube vids
- Marco Rodin, Rodin Coil, Rodin Math (I started with an intro overview here and then went on to this second introduction then lots more youtube links of coil experiments)
- Drunvalo Melchizedek’s Flower of Life Vol 1 & Flower of Life Vol 2
- and the book Physics of Love – The Ultimate Universal Laws – written by Dale pond, Edgar Cayce, John Keely, Rudolph Steiner, and Nicola Tesla for cripes sake…

It’s driving me wild with delight!

When you read these guys and listen to them, you wind up coming across the same things over and over again – platonic solids, fractals, star tetrahedrons, cubeoctahedrons, vortices and vorticular dynamics, spirals, how platonic solids (and “reality”) emerge out of a dot that emerges into 2 dots then 4 dots as a tetrahedron, and polarity, and spin, and vibration, sound….light….gravity, radiation…

When you connect the dots, it’s a short jump from there to electro-magnetics and anti-gravity propulsion and electricity generation and over unity conversations etc etc which bring me to these other 2 books:

- Paul LaViolette, PhD – Secrets of Antigravity Propoulsion
- a wacky book called “Anti-Gravity and the Unified Field” by David Hatcher Childress

I’m calling this stuff “new physics”. I don’t believe it’s new. I believe our Egyptian relatives knew it and knew how to use it. I believe bits of this knowledge are scattered across the world – in the Chinese I-Ching, in Egyptian pyramids and math, in the Bible, in Hermetics and teachings of ancient mystery schools, and so much more… But since we’ve forgotten it, I’m calling it “new” to us…”new physics”…

Anyway, I’ve been trying to connect the dots and now they’re coming faster and faster…this morning 7 “bits” came to me – each could be a separate blog post…

So then I thought I might just start uploading video and recordings sharing the stuff I’m learning …even though I don’t have it all figured out yet… I thought, “Hey, maybe some bit that I’ve made sense of will help someone else, and then maybe someone will come back to me with dots they’ve connected that would help me make sense of something I’m still not clear on yet…” etc…and it all sounded really fun…

I figure this list is as good a start as any :)

I’ll add links to my posts into this post as I put more up about what I’m learning and “getting in the downloads between sleep and awake”…

You have to understand – if we can understand these basic, fundamental principles, we can do wild things like:

- healing with sound
- shaping matter with vibration (sound)
- levitation (this isn’t woo woo – here’s video proof in one of Jamie’s Rodin Coil experiments)
- generating electricity out of something as simple as making sound, or breathing, or a single crank turn, or blowing on a generator that never has to be touched again once it’s started (watch the Rodin Coil vids)
- increasing our longevity
- proving, mathematically, how our thoughts actually can, in fact, impact or change the field of vibration that results in “reality” as we experience it
- show mathematically how we’re not separate from anything – and how we’re intimately entwined with and connected to and one with “God” (ether, Source, Allah, Isness, Oneness, Consciousness, whatever you want to call it)
- …and so much more!

If we can get a clear understanding of how these dots connect, it’d strengthen so much of what we do in so many fields!

Are you into this stuff too? Let’s talk!

Anyway, here’s what I think –

I think we’re entering into a new world, folks – a new age, a new perception of what we call “reality”.

To do that, for one thing, we need far, far more effective ways to release ourselves from our fears. (I offer a 5-step embodiment practice and a doc you can download free about this on ThriveDriveOnline called SORTTing It Out ™ ).

When this stuff I’m calling “new physics” comes more mainstream, those of us stuck in our habits of fear, contractions, and judgment are never going to be able to keep up. So now’s the time to free ourselves from fear, and to support each other at facing the shadows in our unspoken worlds. To shed light; to en-lighten. To Be With each other – I mean really BE WITH…and to love through everything.

I also think that if we’re going to manage entering this new era in tact, we also need more approachable ways for everyone (yes, everyone) to be able to effortlessly see everything as an entwined, interconnected, interdependent integrated system. (I offer an option for this in my work on TheIntegratedApproach, stuff you can also download free on ThriveDriveOnline, that shows a way we can see ourselves, our relationships, our organizations, our planet and the entirety of our “reality” in terms of 7 aspects). While we are each absolutely unique and separately identifiable, we are NOT separate. Now’s our opportunity to support each other to experience the freedom and liberation and peace that comes from experiencing that reality.

System-thinking takes time, and that begs for patience. Those of us so rooted in demanding sound-bytes who can’t take a deep breath, slow down, open our hearts and minds and hear complexity and heart (see also, “both/and” thinking) are going to be lost and won’t understand what’s going on. This is an invitation, in our increasingly fast lives, to train ourselves to also be capable of a longer attention span and greater patience.

Anyway, so “new physics”. Yeah….that’s what I’m up to when I’m not working on my own fears or supporting others in the personal and interpersonal and professional success stuff.

I’ll add links to the “new physics” posts here on this post as I upload them.

Love and blessings to you, dear Ones,
What an exciting time…

Surrender and The Universe

Ahhhh I’m so loving this. The Nassim study and related conversations have me down the most *delicious* rabbit holes!!

A dear friend quoted back to me a Buckminster Fuller reference to the word “Tensegrity” – well I can’t hear Bucky Fuller’s name without getting interested (I’m immediately transported back to college studying with Bucky’s friend Harold Cohen, building Bucky balls, and doing all sorts of other fun mischief related to my current work).

So I immediately had to google to find out what the heck “Tensegrity” means.

I found this quote on the Tensegrity Site:

The word ‘tensegrity’ is an invention: a contraction of ‘tensional integrity.’ Tensegrity describes a structural-relationship principle in which structural shape is guarenteed by the finitely closed, comprehensively continuous, tensional behaviors of the system and not by the discontinuous and exclusively local compressional member behaviors. Tensegrity provides the ability to yield increasingly without ultimately breaking or coming asunder

HA!!!! I’m stealing that line as my new definition for my practice of “surrender” — “Cultivating the ability to yield increasingly without ultimately breaking or coming asunder.”

HA!!! Oh that’s delicious….I love that.

Meanwhile, I also recommend the Wikipedia link on Tensegrity
in case you’re interested.

Onward down the rabbit hole! (Mischievous studies include finding tons of amazing stuff by John Quincy St. Clair that I’m now pouring through, as well as getting my hands on work by Walter Russell and Drunvalo Melchizedek. Can’t seem to ingest this stuff fast enough. Having very funky trippy dreams and meditations now too but that’s a whole other set of stories!

*playful wink*

The Physics of Consciousness

So I’ve just returned from Nassim Haramein’s Delegate program (weekend event). This, after having watched his 6hr DVD “Crossing The Event Horizon” at least 5 times and having watched the Rogue Metaphysical Library 8hr presentation at least 3 times, and after having heard his 3 hour talk in Virginia.

Honestly I was quite disappointed that I paid for (and travelled so far for) a repetition of his presentation – hearing the same talk now for the 10th time, it’s landing for me as cute-but-canned and charming-but-now-repetitive — even while Nassim himself is highly engaging, has an adorable accent, and has very sweet and endearing jokes. The good news is that I did meet some amazing folks, and he did give a few new tidbits that weren’t available elsewhere.

And I’m enjoying the core content immensely. All of this study is bringing me a kind of clarity around the connection between physics and consciousness. I already have a kind of understanding about Unified Field Theory using his work, but now I’m going to do my best to start articulating what I’m understanding (hahaha).

So here’s a journal entry I just wrote attempting that little feat. Ok, it’s a draft version. But maybe you’ll follow the vibe. Especially if you were at the conference, I’d love to hear what you get out of these notes!

With deep curiosity and
In-forming the field,

How does consciousness relate to the physics of spacetime?

The structure of the universe is a liquid pool of infinite density where what we experience as “reality” and “creation” can be described simply with 3 factors:
- principles of division observable at our scale
- principles and impacts of gravity or the contracting principle
- principles and impacts of radiation or the expansive principle

Principles of the Division of Infinite Density
By what principle can we describe how the infinite density of spacetime divides itself? The universe (infinite density, the fabric of spacetime) divides itself into proportional fractals in PHI ratio octaves that we can observe and describe as in linear terms with the geometry of a 64-star-tetrahedron (cube octahedron) or that we can describe in circular terms with the geometry of the primal dot, the flower of life, or the tree of life, depending on what angle, perspective and scale of division you’re describing.

The mass of a primal dot of infinite density can be described in terms of Planc’s distance cm cubed. *** (I have the math for this but I’m not yet able to repeat it back from memory). This mass of a single primal dot, greater than all of the currently measurable mass of the universe, also obeys the conditions physicists refer to as “black holes”. Thus every point in the fabric of spacetime is a black hole with greater or lesser observable coherence in its neighborhood, depending on how fast it is spinning (which is related to the depth of stillness at the center of it). How fast it spins relates to its gravity relates to how much mass it can hold in coherence.

Principles and Impacts of Gravity
The contracting principle of the universe we call “gravity”. At all points of coherence within the fabric of spacetime there occurs a bending and a torquing of the fabric. We call this bending and torquing “gravity”, and the torque of gravity is the source of spin which we find present in all the coherent patterns we observe in our universe.

Principles of Radiation
Without gravity, there is only movement. Explosion, radiation, angular movement and momentum is determined (shaped) by “gravity”. Without sufficient gravity, coherence breaks down and composite primal dots de-form, radiating outward, recombining into other coherences. When a bit of coherent “in-formation” exists, it bends and torques space-time, thus changing movement of other primal dot coherences into the patterns of boundary conditions and orbits that we observe.

Reality – Boundary Conditions
Imagine a pool of water with a swirl of activity within it. What we recognize as ‘reality’ are swirls (shears, boundary conditions) within that pool of infinite density observable at our scale. What we see as “reality” is aspects of the fabric of spacetime (infinite density) that has spun into a coherent pattern (coherence). Another way we can refer to this infinite fabric spun into coherence is “information” – allness/nothingness “in-formation”.

The nature of how spin, gravity and radiation interact in coherent bodies within the infinite density are observable in and describable by the image of a double-torus.

Science has ineffectively attempted to describe these universal properties (spin, gravity and the resulting observable boundary conditions we call “reality”) in terms of string theory (classic physics), relativity (which forgets about torque and spin), wave dynamics, and particle dynamics (quantum mechanics).

Infinite Interconnectedness
Just as when a swirl is observable in water, and yet the swirl isn’t ACTUALLY separate from the water, we just notice the boundary conditions and call it “swirl”, so too is our spacetime fabric all connected by the “void” (pool of infinite density). Within the infinite density field (the “void”, the fabric of spacetime), all things are connected.

Infinite Instant Communication
Primal dots, as they come together in coherence patterns (in-formation) change the field. For example, we observe “gravity” and “wave patterns” (products of primal dots forming in coherence and impacting the spacetime fabric). Primal dot “in-formation” happens at (roughly?) the speed of light, which at our scale and observation threshold seems to us as “instantaneous”. Coherences of primal dots “in-formation” happen at varying speeds. For example, “light” (patterns of primal dots “in-formation” in a pattern we call “light”) happen so fast that to our scale of observation it seems apparently “instantaneous”. Other forms of communication (in-formation impacting the field) happen more slowly, like sound. Historically we have observed and described this communication in terms of waves – lightwaves, sound waves, xrays, etc.

But every primal dot communicates with all other primal dots.

Since communication about activity of every primal dot (in-formation) reaches all other primal dots, like waves in an ocean, each primal dot of the fabric of spacetime both informs, and is impacted by, every other primal dot. No activity happens in isolation – a change of activity for one primal dot changes the field and impacts all other dots. In science we observe this and call it “entanglement”. All things are connected.

Omnipresence
While every primal dot in the fabric of spacetime interacts both as “in-formation” radiating information instantaneously received by all other points of the field, each point can be described as “omnipresent”.

Omniscience
While every primal dot also receives instantaneous information (feedback in) about all other points within the field, every primal dot can be described as “omniscient”.

“God is in all things”
The totality of all omniscient, omnipresent primal dots in the total flux of creation, destruction, movement and activity (omnipotent) is what we call “consciousness” or “God”. Consciousness/God is primal dot. Primal dot is Consciousness/God. All things are made up of God/consciousness, and God/consciousness is in all things. This is the meaning of “God is omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent”.

Deliberate creation
As coherent patterns of primal dot “in-formation” in the shape of human (God created man in his image), we too obey laws of the structure of the universe. We radiate information out into the field (thought waves, for example). We take in “in-formation” from our environment (food, air, feedback from our environment).

While we are capable of adding information to the field through thought, we are capable of impacting the state of what we call “reality”. This is the root of what is called “alchemy”. In today’s world, most people are not at all conscious of or developing skills to control their thought waves consistently enough to generate enough “coherence” in the fabric of spacetime such that they can create a shift in what they observe (“reality”) around them. However, there are many who are actively consciously practicing the capacity to, with more speed and less friction, deliberately generate coherence within their own field such that “reality” “shape-shifts” around them. Meanwhile, we are also impacted by the wave forms that we are immersed in: cultural thought forms, family constellation thought forms, previous habits, etc. Thus most of us are not able to instantaneously transform reality with our thoughts, because reality (and we) are still be impacted by the “in-formation” around us. To change reality on a dime takes a greater coherence of primal dots than most of us have developed skill to generate. This is useful. We lack control over what we generate in our fields; we think negative thoughts and gruesome destructive images as easily as we think creative thoughts and life-serving images. If we had the skill to generate reality-changing coherence instantaneously, we would generate undesired coherences as easily as we would generate desired ones. If we were not part of the interconnected fabric, we would instantaneously generate each and every undesired coherence that occurred to our untrained minds.

As we develop skills to control our intention, and as we train ourselves to greater and greater alchemical ability, as “man created in the image of God” we will be more and more capable of generating reality from our thoughts with less and less time and with less and less friction.(Personally, this is part of my daily practice using exercises in TheIntegratedApproach.com)

Primal dot. Fractal divisions in PHI ratio with movement, gravity, spin, and coherence. Instant communication of “in-formation” across all primal dots. Our ability (or lack of training) to connect to that “in-formation” and contribute to it.

This is the physics of consciousness.

Dissolving into Isness

I’m hanging out a bit with the Deida community again.  On a post there I wrote this quote, and it was quoted back to me as being helpful, so I thought I’d share it here.  It’s a part of my regular practice:

I ask myself, “What’s left in me when activism/action, surrender/release to God, and distraction are no longer options?”

It leaves me burning in the fire. It leaves me grieving. And when the full grief and the fire finally dissolve, i’m left….Open beyond myself…

I Don’t Believe In Faith – Do I?

Faith is when
You allow yourself to trust, to believe in something
Long enough and fully enough to
Let your perceptive filters begin to see evidence that justifies your belief.

It’s like the suspension of disbelief that we choose to take on when we go to the movies.
It’s an act of play.

In quantum mechanics, all realities Are. Simultaneously.
All possible permutations of right now Are Happening. It’s mathematically proven.
So then how do we have our “experience”?
We choose it. Consciously or (mostly) unconsciously.
We filter what we experience through our choices and our beliefs.

Pick something simple to start with. Say, 2 pennies.
Believe 2 pennies will find you. Have faith.

When you realize you can make 2 pennies of anything you wish,
Aim bigger.

Then tell me your successes.
Let’s celebrate.

Trust and the Bungee Cord

Trust with an open heart that things are possible. When we walk in the world from fear, speculation, avoidance and distrust, the baggage is like bungee cords that pull us backwards. Hold the vision of what you do want, ask for it, trust with an open heart; at least then you’ll have a shot at reaching your vision.

Impossible? Too hard? Etc?

Affirmations 1 – Elements of an Affirmation

So you are curious about affirmations, huh?

We use affirmations to create a mental state that’s conducive to generating the results we would like to experience, but affirmations can be far more effective than just “motivation” or “feel good techniques” or “blahblah yeah yeah this is what I want.” I’m sure you’ve seen the images of someone staring at themselves in a mirror saying “I like myself.” That doesn’t hold a candle to what affirmations can really do for you.

Affirmations, otherwise known as declarations, can be a powerful starting point for:

- you to have more of the fulfillment you want
- your loved ones to experience more of the thriving they want
- your colleagues to enjoy more rewarding, more productive careers
- your community to experience more of the environment they want
- our world to experience more of the kind of world we want.

Affirmations that are the most successful aren’t just “affirmations”. What do I mean by that? I mean, affirmations that are the most powerful are ones that integrate not just the mind and your thoughts, but ones that integrate all six aspects of who you are (mind, body, spirit, heart, gut and action). You can see more about what I mean in my blog post, “When Affirmations Aren’t Enough“.

Meanwhile, if you’re new to affirmations, it helps to know a bit about the “what” and the “how” of them.

What are the elements of a powerful affirmation? How do people use affirmations?

Welcome to Affirmation Basics.

Affirmation Basics – The Elements of an Affirmation

What is an affirmation? Let’s talk about the elements of constructing a declaration or affirmation that is most likely to work.

When you want to create an affirmation, you want to be sure you start out with these three basic tips:

1. Keep it in the Present
2. Declare what you do want, rather than what you don’t
3. Give yourself room to “fake it till you make it.”

What do these three basics mean?

Keep it in the Present

When working with clients who are making a declaration or an affirmation, I sometimes hear future-oriented statements like “I want to” statements (statements like “I want to make more money” or “I want to do work I love” or “I want to have a better relationship”). Sometimes I hear the “I will” statements (statements like “I will make more money next year” or “I will be living in a wonderful house” or “Our family will be kinder to each other.”)

Although these future-oriented statements are a step toward what you want, by practicing a repetition that what is in the future, you inadvertently keep your goal always in the future.

To strengthen the power of your affirmation or declaration, keep it in the present.

For example you can keep your affirmations in the present when you replace, “I want to” or “I will … ” with a verb in the present tense: “I am / I have / We enjoy / We do …”

We relish the love in our relationship.
I love living in my spacious, clean, comfortable home.
Our family shares loving time together.
Everyone in the office raves about how fun it is to work here.
I make more money now than ever before.
Our community eats more and more healthily every week.

Declare what you DO Want

Next, instead of affirming / declaring what you don’t want, be sure to affirm / declare what you do want.

Ex: replace “I no longer date obnoxious men,” with, “I date chivalrous, generous men who adore me.”

Ex: replace “My work isn’t boring anymore,” with “I do what I love for work.”

By focusing on what you do want, you improve your ability to ask for it and to make decisions that are more likely to generate what you do want.

Give Yourself Room to “Fake it Till You Make It.”

Often when a new client begins doing affirmations, I’ll hear comments like, “But that’s not real, I’m just lying to myself.” It’s true that in the beginning you’ll feel the gap between what you want and what you currently experience. We call this training, not lying.

Remember that the goal of affirmations is to give yourself a conscious mantra, a cue, a story, which will impact your subconscious and help you get where you want to be.

How is this different than lying to yourself?

When we lie, we typically are doing it in secret (we don’t tell the other person we’re lying) and we often do it for some sort of non-benevolent purpose (to get away with something, or to hide something, or to avoid difficulty rather than facing the music).

When we “Fake it till you make it”, we’re deliberately choosing a habit that supports training the subconscious. This deliberate act isn’t lying so long as it’s done in a transparent way (you know you’re doing it, so both the trainer and trainee are aware of what’s going on), and the intent is purely benevolent (your intent is for life increase).

When and how do we use affirmations?

Thoughts Are Things

Here’s an excerpt from a recent email exchange, I hope and trust may serve you!

Warmly,
Gail

> > what we focus on we attract more of….

> would you educate me on that notion, oh obi wan?
> you’ve stated that sentiment before, i think i grok it
> intuitively, but i’d like to develop a better mental
> model for why that is true.

heh

i’ll do my best to convey what i understand

there are several ways i understand the truth to “thoughts are things”.

one is that the subconscious mind is like a dog – whatever you tell it to do, it will obey without discrimination. we know in psychology that people subconsciously seek evidence to support the thoughts they choose to hold. ex: if i permit inner chatter that says “people are idiots”, my subconscious mind will obediently take that in as truth, and i will now have an unconscious process operating that looks for where it’s true that people are idiots, and filtering the world in those terms…i will inadvertently, unconsciously, look for evidence to substantiate my inner chatter….even if i’m immersed among amazing folks, my attention will be drawn to gloss over that and will instead seek out where they are being idiots, and who is the biggest idiot, because “idiot” is what i’ve inadvertently trained my subconscious mind to pay attention to…the result of my very obedient subconscious is that suddenly all i will experience is all the idiots around me.

now on the other hand, if i choose inner chatter that says “people are generally trying to do the best they can”, my subconscious mind will obediently take that in as truth, and i will now have an unconscious process operating that looks for where it’s true that people are doing the best that they can, and I filter the world in those terms…i will inadvertently, unconsciously, look for evidence to substantiate my inner chatter….even if i’m immersed among total idiots, my attention will be drawn to gloss over that and will instead seek out where they are doing the best they can, and i’ve inadvertently trained my subconscious mind to pay attention to that…the result of my very obedient subconscious is that suddenly all i will experience is all the ways the people around me are really doing the best they can.

by the way, we also have psychological evidence showing that how we think about others – without ever saying it – impacts how they behave. school children somehow know when a teacher has labeled them as ‘trouble’, even when the teacher tries not to reveal the judgment. and the children wind up living up to it. likewise, when managers perceive employees as lazy or unproductive, even the highest performers suddenly, inexplicably, decline in performance. the reverse is also true. when teachers label students ‘gifted’, the students eagerly try to live up to the label; when employees are considered ‘assets’, they are more likely to produce more positive output.

thoughts are things.

so knowing that this is in operation, i choose my thoughts and my beliefs very very carefully. when i find a belief that doesn’t serve me i set immediate action in motion to rewire it. when i hear myself habitually pointing to what i do NOT like or something i DON’T want, i take immediate action to reframe it. ex: if i find a thought that says “i can’t tell her, she’ll have a meltdown”, i realize that cultivating *that* belief as an unconscious process only reinforces my belief. so instead i’ll try out “there IS a way i can tell her that she can handle…what is it?” and voila now my subconscious mind, obediently taking in that directive, will seek out answers, evidence, and substantiation for *that* belief. that’s much more in my favor. so i choose to put my subconscious on the task of what i DO want at all times.

let’s take this out of the subconscious and into something more practical. if i spend my time thinking about what i want, i then can take action to get it. if i spend my time only focusing on what i do NOT like and what i do NOT want…where will my actions go?

so bottom line, at the level of the tangible world, the gross-physical-body, i see a direct correlation between how we habitually think and how we act….and i see a direct correlation between (what we think and how we act) and (what kind of experience we have in the world). i see a 3-link chain, and in seeing it it holds weight for me. the 3-link chain goes like this:
- my inner chatter / self-talk / habits of speech / habits of thought plug into and (to a large degree) shape my subconscious mind
- my sub-conscious mind impacts/affects my actions, my decision-making processes, and my perception.
- thus, whatever is going on in my subconscious mind actually has the power to contort or shape what i do, what i ask for (or don’t ask for), how i decide (if i’m clear about what i DO want, i can make more conscious choices in favor of it), and what i experience as “actual experience”

that’s a mouthful right there.

ok ready for another layer?

next, i have an association not only at the direct/tangible/gross-body level, but also at the level of the miraculous / the indirect / the interconnected subtle-body fabric. let’s call this the alchemy of intent/manifestation.

have you heard “align your energies and providence moves to meet you”?

(ever thought about a penny and then found 5 that day?)

ever heard people talk about the benefits of “affirmations”? ok affirmations alone don’t always work, they sometimes need a bit more…but you may be starting to get a picture, right?

this picture may be easier to understand if you have experience with what i mean when i say the “subtle fabric”.

without looking, speaking, or knowing, you can *feel* when someone walks into the room pissed off, hmm? or ever had a “sense” when someone was looking at you and look up and catch them square in the eyes?

if we imagine that there is such a thing as an invisible interconnected web between us all, a kind of energetic impact that we have (sometimes greater, sometimes lesser) on the world around us, then merely intending a thing with absolute commitment may help it become so.

(ex: a scientist finding an electron right where he “expects” it to be)…

if it’s true that our thoughts can impact the physical world around us, then what do you want to be committing your thoughts to? “i worry about how the meeting will turn out”? or “i trust the meeting will turn out for the best?” do you want “i’m afraid you’ll yell at me” or “i really want our conversation to be easy”?

in the physics concept of an electron showing up where it’s expected – what if what’s “real” is that all infinite possibilities exist in the universe simultaneously, but YOUR experience of the universe depends entirely on what you as the Life Scientist focus your attention on? which of the infinite possible electron locations do you *want*? just focus on it.

i’ve experienced alchemical miracles on many occasions, i experience more every single day, it’s an active part of my life. but let’s say i had not.

let’s just say – hypothetically – *if* it were true that my thoughts, my emotions, and the alignment in me could actually impact reality (ex: a scientist finding an electron right where he “expects” it to be) – then baby i’m sure as heck going to select and choose my thoughts carefully. i’m going to be careful not to permit myself to inadvertently land that electron where i do NOT want it – i’m going to focus my attention and train my thoughts to put that electron where i DO want it.

ever see the movie Sphere?

next let’s take a systemic look at how our thoughts impact our reality. when i think about what i don’t like, what i don’t want, what is not working, and what i’m bummed out about, my whole chest feels like it’s going to cave in. i feel discouraged, depressed, down and out. this is *not* a productive or creative state of mind. ever try to come up with a resourceful solution when you’re angry? it’s hard! likewise, while my chest is caved in and my emotions are dragging across the floor i am NOT very resourceful to create the experience i want. i can’t even be a positive contributor when i’m in that state.

so when i realize that my thoughts impact my state which impacts my capacity to be resourceful, i take responsibility for my every thought and every speech act. i limit my thoughts to what i DO want and what i WOULD like and what WOULD work for me.

ever heard of the Buddhist concept of “right speech”?

ever heard of the book “You Can’t Afford the Luxury of a Negative Thought”?

incidentally, people around me who want to contribute to me feel way better when i say what i DO want and what i WOULD like and what WOULD work for me – because then they have clarity about how to contribute to me. and they do. but when we habitually focus our thoughts on the opposite, we are not as strong in asking for what we DO want. and if we don’t ask for what we want, how can others effortlessly know how to contribute to us? which isn’t a small incident at all, in fact.

so again – thoughts are things. if i think “man i don’t want to go hungry”, and i’m in a contracted state of self-protection and fear, i’ll be far less resourceful to take care of what i DO want, and people around me who feel uncomfortable with my self-protectiveness will be less inclined to contribute. on the other hand if i say “woo baby i’d really love a super-delicious hot and juicy meal tonight,” now i’m a first step toward getting one – i can ask for it. now suddenly people around me are magnetized by my vision and gravitate to helping make it happen and enjoying it themselves. thoughts become things.

Finally here’s that Goethe quote and a question:

“Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth…the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.” http://www.goethesociety.org/pages/quotescom.html

If providence moves all sorts of things to meet you based on what you think — then what are you committing your thoughts to?

If the ability to commit to a decision springs out of your habits of thought, what habits do you permit in the way you think? What do you choose to focus on?

Hope this helps!!!
